Parents face new challenges when their child is born, and the postnatal period involves a number of physical and psychological changes for the woman. The midwife plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of both mother and baby through home visits. To perform her duties effectively, the midwife needs the right tools to streamline her work, allowing more time for building a meaningful relationship with her patients. The mobile midwife workstation includes a specialist bag with a portable baby scale. An integral part of the project is the “Home Care Together” app, which supports scheduling visits, monitoring the baby’s health, and tracking the parents’ well-being. The developed solution streamlines the midwife’s workflow while giving parents reliable access to information about visits and their newborn’s health.

Agnieszka Bujas
A graduate of the Faculty of Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. She is a designer specializing in both product and graphic design. Her practice is rooted in an empathetic understanding of users – their needs, behaviors, and motivations. She pays particular attention to projects in the fields of healthcare and universal design, striving to improve the everyday experiences of their recipients.
