Orthocast is a Walker type orthosis used in orthopedic problems requiring temporary immobilization of the ankle joint. It combines comfort and hygiene with a high level of limb protection. It is available in three sizes. Demountable elements: inserts, straps, removable sole, make it easier to keep the orthosis clean. Thanks to the use of magnetic and Velcro fasteners, fastening, unfastening and adjusting are very simple. The orthosis is airy and does not cause discomfort during hot weather. The additional inner sock provides protection against cold and wind at a lower temperature. The outer pad protects the leg against moisture on rainy and snowy days. The use of thermoformable polyethylene for the production makes it possible to adjust the orthesis to the patient’s leg by heating and bending the elements.
