Multifunctional screen for the Wroc\u0142aw Children’s Hospice created in cooperation with AoFA in Wroc\u0142aw.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The space for which the screen was created is the so-called “House of rest” <\/span>\u2013<\/span> a place with special needs. The residents of the Children’s Hospice range in age from a few months to over thirty years of age.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The screen was created as a response to the specific needs of the staff and residents \u2013 creates a temporary private space between residents and facilitates the transfer of materials and cleaning products.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The project is innovative due to the lack of previous research on a topic that combines broadly understood design in a place as unique as a children’s hospice. This means that the design process required thorough and detailed research. The most important element of the screen are openwork boards, compatible with the IKEA SK\u2013DIS storage system. This makes it cheaper, easier and faster to adapt the screen to its new role. The materials used are safe for the users health.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n \n \n\n\n

\n Sara Iwanowska, Mateusz Fr\u0105szczak \n <\/h2>\n \n

\n Students of Industrial Design at the Wroc\u0142aw Academy of Fine Arts and Design, designers and enthusiasts of fault-finding. The duo takes a multidisciplinary approach to design, combining various technologies with their non-obvious applications. \r\n

\r\nSara Iwanowska<\/b> is associated with HAK studio, where she was responsible for audit and design strategy. In her work, she puts the user first by designing products that improve everyday life, including biomechanical prosthesis and diabetes kit.\r\n

\r\nMateusz Fr\u0105szczak<\/b> works with designer Wiktoria Lenart, where he designed, among others: furniture, experimental musical instruments, home accessories. He collaborated with Porsche Wroc\u0142aw, foppa.me, composer Marta \u015aniady and others.\n <\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n
