A project for individuals post-stroke enabling the rehabilitation of fine motor skills, allowing for the safe elimination of flexor tensions. The basic premise is to lower the cost of the orthosis. The product will be available under an open-source license for self-manufacture using a home printer or can be ordered for professional 3D printing. Estimated price: 19-98 PLN.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The orthosis consists of 8 parts, flexible rubber, and Velcro. It allows for independent, easy application, adjustment of finger extension force, and customization to individual hand sizes. The wrist stabilizing element is fitted to the shape of the hand by heating the print.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n \n \n\n\n

\n He comes from Krakow, specifically from Nowa Huta. His life is most deeply connected with this district of Krakow. Patryk enjoys observing how we use the things around us and how mass-produced objects become unique through the actions of their owners. Thanks to my experience in refurbishing old furniture, He has understood the importance of giving objects a second life. The idea of sustainable design allows me to practically apply my skills in creating projects focused on long-term usability. Since 2022, he has been a member of the Wtorek Group, which actively contributes to the Krakow art scene by organizing exhibitions and grassroots project initiatives.
