Weave is a collection of 3D-printed table lamps based on a parametric model. To control it, <\/span>he<\/span> designed a prototype of a configurator that allows for intuitive customization using sliders. <\/span>It’s<\/span> enables <\/span>to<\/span> smoothly change the shape, and control the generative pattern, by changing proportions and arrangement of colors. As a result, each lamp can be different yet coherent with the collection. The use of 3D printing and automation of processes makes producing each lamp unique remarkably easy, with minimal human involvement. After printing, the lamp requires no <\/span>additional<\/span> processing and is ready for assembly. It consists of an outer shell, a base, <\/span>a LED<\/span> bulb, a socket, and a cable. The texture covering the lamp is the result of <\/span>numerous<\/span> experiments. Combined with different filament colors, it creates a distinctive pattern, and thanks to the variable perforation size, it allows for a smooth transition of transparency, increasing towards the top of the lamp.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n \n \n\n\n

\n Sta\u015b Stupkiewicz\n <\/h2>\n \n

\n A product designer, a graduate of the Faculty of Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He has gained experience in design studios in Warsaw and Krak\u00f3w. From 2018 to 2019, collaborated with UAU Project, experimenting with 3D printing technologies and designing household items. From 2019 to 2024, worked for Tylka \u2013 a furniture company that provides premium quality, fully customizable storage solutions. As a Product Designer, he combined my industrial design experience with parametric skills. \r\n

\r\nIn private practice, he continues to work in the field of 3D printing, deeply inspired by the idea of customization and on-demand production technologies and processes. He hopes to give people the opportunity to replace generic, mass-produced products in their homes, with customized items with a deeper personal meaning.
