The exhibition shows the winner designs of this year's Young Design 2020 and the designs developed by selected winners and finalists of the previous twelve competitions.
We want to show the young generation of Polish design as it is – resourceful, courageous and reaching for innovative solutions.
The exhibition is aimed to show the development path of the competition winners and how the Wanda Telakowska scholarship affected their careers.
Twelve finalists of this year's competition and selected winners and finalists from previous competitions share their designs, discuss their cooperation with top brands and participation in national and international exhibitions. The designers include the winners of the most distinguished design awards – Red Dot Award, iF Award and Dobry Wzór IWP.
The exhibition shows their designs implemented in production (furniture, pottery, household appliances, gardening tools, medical equipment etc.) with particular consideration for those distinguished in design competitions in Poland and worldwide.
Oliwia Otręba, this year's competition winner, won the Wanda Telakowska scholarship for her design of "Voronoi" elastic overlay for a lower limb prosthesis. The special award was granted by Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu SA to Wojciech Błaszczyk for his "Sonda" loudspeaker design.
The exhibition is also held in a virtual form.
