A response to the design problem of limiting visual perception among trekkers resulting from the use of various types of headgear. It also touches on the problem of no tendency to use helmets during hiking, which results in the concept of a protective layer made of EVA foam integrated with the hood. The idea was also to take into account the aspect of variability of the designed headgear, in relation to the changing weather situation and the nature of the hike. The whole is a set, that can be a jacket fragment for any outdoor clothing manufacturer. The detachable layer is a protector, inspired by foam climbing helmets, which can be clipped inside, rolled up on the back of the head or kept in a backpack when not needed. All manipulation elements are also stylistic accents that follow the style of mountain equipment.
