The furniture project utilizing steel sheet metal and innovative arched bending techniques enabled the use of thinner material (0.7 mm), significantly reducing the weight of the furniture and enhancing its durability. Comparative tests against current bending technologies demonstrated the superiority of this new approach, allowing the introduction of a unique product to the furniture market. The project combines simple production technologies, such as laser cutting, with the ability to transport furniture in the form of a flat sheet, which simplifies logistics and supports local businesses, especially during crises. The furniture is made from 100% recyclable steel sheet and sustainably sourced wood, with customization options available through various finishes and types of wood. The series includes a chair (440x400x340 mm) and a bench (440x1400x400 mm), both made from 0.7 mm thick galvanized steel sheet, powder–coated.
