make me! 2024

Regional Dreaming is a project showcasing a contemporary, regional collection of ceramic tableware, drawing inspiration from Wielkopolska’s culinary heritage. Inspired by stormy skies, wheat spikes, and dark green cherry tree leaves. She refutes claims of it being the most boring region in the world – she wants to reimagine Wielkopolska. The project aims to demonstrate how value can arise from locality, presenting a contemporary ceramic collection subtly harnessing the region’s hidden resources. Through techniques like Raugo firing and glazes crafted from locally sourced wood ash and industrial ashes, it embodies the region’s spirit. Its primary objective is to promote Wielkopolska through design, reinterpreting regional tableware, fostering connections with local artisans, and popularizing local products via culinary pop-ups, integral to the project’s mission.
