An exhibition that challenges the dominance of vision as a tool of understanding, exploring the role of touch, sound, and smell in shaping our relationship with the world. The presented objects, inspired by research on synesthesia and multisensory experience, provoke interaction and reflection on the limits of perception.
Fifteen objects invite visitors to experiment ? they aren?t just meant to be looked at but, above all, touched and tested. Does perception have limits, or does it evolve with bodily engagement? Materials, textures, and the flexibility of the objects become a medium of experience, activating cognitive mechanisms.
The exhibition also has an inclusive dimension ? some objects allow visitors to perceive reality in ways similar to blind or sensory-sensitive individuals, creating space for empathy. It is a sensory laboratory where everyone can explore and push the boundaries of their own perception.
The exhibition was included in the Łódź Design Festival 2025 program as part of the open call open programme.
