We tell the story of the complex design activity of adapting the Tenement space for architectural education. We show the process involving research, observation, interviews and workshops. We ask our visitors about their experience of the space. We gather responses from children, from professionals, people with special cognitive needs, activists, self-advocates, and enthusiasts.
We are in the process. At Hilary Majewski Tenement House, we will present a project divided into three parts, corresponding to three rooms. The first is a place for staying in the experiment. The models presented here are used to train ergonomics, experience and learn architectural phenomena. Visitors will have the opportunity to manipulate the models in space. In the second room, we will show the results of design workshops on the sense of comfort in the Tenement House. The third space will serve as a field for free reflection on comfort in the spaces that surround us every day – rented, designed, dreamed…
