The inspiration for the “Cooling Grip” project was not only the need for cooling of the cyclist’s hands while driving, but also the phenomenon of natural ventilation used, for example, in architecture. The grip was designed in such a way as to use only natural wind energy, which gives the effect of aero-massage. The grip owes its attributes to the special construction of the patent air transportation system. The form of the device was achieved thanks to the 3D printing technology and flexible TPU 92A- 1 material, thanks to which the grip can maintain a firm contact with a handlebar. “Cooling Grip” is an example of an object that can be perceived by a human on many different levels and with many senses – it has not only visual, but also haptic qualities.
