make me! 2013
Karolina Zięba prepared two outfits: for a tomboy and for a girl more into skirts and dresses. Both use high-quality natural fabrics and invoke traditional folk costumes. The designer looked for inspiration in the past and tradition. She chose only all-natural fabrics: smooth unbleached cotton, thick striped cloth, thin and delicate cotton. The dress comes with a beautifully finished petticoat, which may be worn on its own. All buttons are wooden and the short have floral stripes. The clothes were sewn using traditional methods, with no overlock stitching, and covered seams.
