“Kinderbal” offers an inverted material culture in which quality, interaction with the object and the artisanal production process matter. An ordinary object a glass used frequently becomes a carrier of memories. A handmade glasses made of blown glass shaped in wooden molds, tinted in the mass. Pure colors picked from contemporary color spaces CMYK (cyan, magenta and yellow) and RGB (red, green and blue), were created based on the receiving properties of human eyes.

The simple form focuses on the detail of a single ripple that migrates at three heights, allowing the glasses to be stacked. The user matches primary colors and creates a rainbow. Interaction creates emotional value while an everyday object becomes an object of favorite use. “Kinderbal” evolves from an average glass to the level of family tableware, which is passed down from generation to generation.
