Safety is the primary reason behind this project. The authors want cyclists to feel safe and respected on the road. It was beautifully designed. In addition to its life-saving functions, we also wanted Lumos to look good on the head. We used only the best materials and analysed every design detail to make Lumos a beautiful, fully integrated, and cohesive design. The Lumos helmet was inspired by the fact that when Eu-wen and Jeff were cycling, they forgot to take their lights with them, or to charge them, which made them feel not quite safe on the road. So they designed a helmet to increase visibility on the road. It is the world’s first helmet with integrated lights, directional signals, and an automatic brake light.
