“Mejeri” is a set of tools for making homemade butter and other dairy products. It is aimed at urban dwellers, supporters of organic food and healthy lifestyles, looking for a true taste of natural dairy products. It consists of three dishes and whisk. An important part of the project is the application for mobile devices designed with a mission to help users search milk vending machines in their area. It also contains important information about the process of creating dairy products. It is very important not to ignore the emotions accompanying by the process of making butter. Involvement of the buyer in the action gives added value to the finished product, as captured personally and in fully traditional way. Other values are contemporary and minimalist design, ease of use and reference to tradition and modern lifestyle. “Mejeri” user can provoke a more informed choice of food products and interest in ecological food. Synthesized shape of a traditional churns was included in the modern design kit, while fully preserving all assumptions about functionality.
