The series of Re-born napkins is a set of textile baskets inspired by the tradition of wrapping bread in a cloth napkin. The Re-born napkins are formed only by using starch spray that allows the basket to hold its shape. The starch allows basket owners to create their own shape and look of the basket. The possibility to wash the napkin and use it anew reflects current market needs and the customers‘ desire to own something new. This product combines two elements – tradition, embroidery on the one hand, and innovation, a new outlook on traditional elements on the other hand.
