“The Transparent Chair” is an example of innovative use of industrial materials to create unique forms. This chair is made from a single sheet of mesh steel with a continuous and coherent form, where the main role is played by the material itself. With the right technological background that Polish industry has, “Transparent Chair” can be simple to manufacture, yet highly impressive. “Transparent Chair” is a more friendly look at industrial materials. Taking into consideration the aesthetic and structural potential, as well as properties of expanded metal mesh, in a modern and economical way an entire piece of furniture has been formed, from only one piece of material. This is a response to the needs of individuals, as well as restaurateurs and architects who care about the furniture, which will give their interiors an extraordinary character. Mesh steel makes the chair both transparent and light in expression, but also durable. The chair is weatherproof and easy to clean. It can be used as outdoor and indoor furniture.
