A light bulb, a cable, a bulb holder and a metal frame – this is all it takes to create a lamp. The lamp gives off a soft, pleasant light, while the coiled cable casts intriguing shadows on the floor. The fourteen-meter long cable and a mounting system based on rubber cable glands allows the user to wrap the cable around the frame or unwrap it when desired, thus determining both the distance from the power socket and the intensity of the lamp’s glow. The design places an emphasis on functionality and on satisfying the needs of the user; it is up to the user to decide how the lamp looks like, where it is supposed to stand and how much light it will give off.
