The unique, sculptural vases “In my forest” are made using metallurgical waste, unnecessary, used, collected in the steelworks from the cemetery of forms and recomposed into a single-use form. Trees, a forest of trees – from old discarded burnt molds and molding waste, comes back to life in glass. It is a tribute to wonderful forests and trees from which wooden forms are made in steelworks. Despite the common base of the old form, no two vases are identical. The recipient has a unique, unique copy of his own unique item.

These are my “junk”, “natural”, “readymade” – disposable forms, constructed by me “out of nothing”. In the structure of the product, the relief there remains a specific record of the place, the found objects used, a kind of time capsule and information.

Technique: own. Material: soda glass colored in mass and layered with old Kugler colors from the years. 80.

Unique items made in Tadeusz Wrześniak’s Glassworks.
