The Tulipan armchair was created as one of the elements of a set of lounge furniture designed by Teresa Kruszewska in 1973. The extraordinary sense of form, conscious thinking about aesthetics and proper construction at the same time, typical of the designer, are the influence of famous Polish designers associated with the Artists’ Cooperative “Ład” and Alvar Alto.
