17. Łódź Design Festival
FUTURE PERFECT
18–28.05.2023

“There is probably no one who does not wonder what the future will look like. We live in a time full of uncertainty, yet at the same time with increasingly new possibilities and immeasurable opportunities. Thanks to technological and scientific advances, we have hope for a better tomorrow – we believe that in the near future we will find effective solutions to global problems, such as climate change or social conflicts.”These are the words of Michał Piernikowski, director of ŁDF, which announced the program assumptions of the 2023 edition of the Festival.

17. edition of Łódź Design Festival in numbers:
* 11 festival days – 18-28.05.2023 Future Perfect
* 20 000 participants
* 57 exhibitions and events
* more than 500 people involved in building the program
* 2 337 press information

During the 17th edition of the Łódź Design Festival, were considered a various scenarios of the future, which were looked at from many different perspectives, both on a macro and micro scale – especially at the level of cities and their inhabitants. Together with the audience, an answer was sought to the question of whether, instead of just predicting the future, we can design it together.

In addition to the exhibitions, a series of lectures with guests, a series of creative workshops and activities for children as part of the Edukreacja series were prepared for the audience.
