open programme – open call for the ŁDF2023 program
Are you a designer, an artist, do you do research or educate? Send us your proposal and get a chance to present yourself at Łódź Design Festival!
open programme is an open call, which allows students, designers, producers, artists, researchers, innovators, educators to submit their own proposals for the festival program. Ideas can be submitted by individuals, as well as institutions, associations, foundations, schools, galleries, etc.
The call for proposals lasts a whole year, but the forms sent by February 15, 2023 will be considered for the Łódź Design Festival 2023, unless the pool for projects from the open programme is filled earlier (see below: main rules of the call).

OPEN PROGRAMME’S MAIN RULES

Each applicant may submit a maximum of 2 proporslas.

Offers can be both individual and come from a design/creative/artistic group or, for example, the entire year of a given major at an art university.

Submitted ideas must have a ready formula for presentation/implementation in the festival space.

The LDF team considers the proposals submitted in the last 30 days on a monthly basis and makes decisions about accepting or rejecting ideas from the pool.

The planned number of implementations under the open program ranges from 3 to 10 proprosals.

Calls for 2023 edition will last until February 15, 2023 or until the availability of space for additional proposals from the open call is finished.

Transportation, assembly, disassembly, visual identification and handling of the exhibition/presentation/installation/workshop are the responsibility of the applicant.
