What happened in 2023 in ŁDF?

It’s hard to summarize in a few sentences what has been going on with us over the last 365 days of 2023. A lot has really happened – thank you for your continued presence and support. In a nutshell::

• 11 festival days / 20,000 participants / 57 exhibitions and events / more than 500 people involved in building the program / 2,337 media releases,
• 171 people from all over the world participated in the make me! competition,
• nearly 400 Polish products were submitted to the must have plebiscite,
• we published 10 episodes of the podcast Different Things, Urban Slides series,
• on the occasion of the 600th anniversary of Lodz, Michael, director of the LDF, received a medal for his contribution to the development of our city,
• we prepared a new website (we are working on its next functionalities),
• we spent the vacations under the motto Anthropocene – we organized the Lodz edition of the exhibition and accompanying events (walks, workshops, conference),
• all year we were active in the World Design Weeks network, bringing together the most important industry events in the world,
• we joined an international consortium and are implementing the Palimpsest project.
