The architectural exhibition that focuses on human interconnections, communication and sensibility. Beauty, happiness but also our mistakes becomes our point of view for discussion about basic questions for architecture today. We keep on asking why do we create architecture and for whom. Parts of the building spilled out in the exhibition space wihout any context, they give us  a possibility to experience its’ separated forms. MAKAA projects, that are created from a sensitivity and opened to contradictions,  are the fluent complementation for this conversation. Katarzyna and Marcin Waloryszak take us on a journey through images of childhood memories, dreams and individual needs of difference. Creating a space of sensitivity and respect. Andrzej Smolik has created a musical space for the exhibition. It proves that emotion and beauty can raise our feelings much above comfort. If you want to see what we’re talking about come and see the exhibition!

MAKAA. Architectural office from Łódź. The team focuses on designing buildings, answering for the human needs and relations. In 2011 they collected the exhibition of works “Show me your house, and I will tell you who you are” experimenting, how architecture can personificate our nature and emotions, going beyond the framework of “Machine for living”. Therofore from that time, architecture for living, houses, dwellings and public spaces are their zone of design. Cooperating with developers, they are preparing analysis and research for the residential market. They keep on declaring that architecture is a tool that respond for the social needs and becomes the investment in the most precious common resource – life and space.
