This extraordinary collection is the result of the project entitled “Ludzie z fabryki porcelany” (“People from the Porcelain Factory”) by anthropologist Ewa Klekot and ceramist Arkadiusz Szwed. They provided the workers of the Ćmielów porcelain factory with gloves soaked in cobalt. Every employee who took a previously prepared dish into their hand left a cobalt imprint on it. On the bottom of the dishes there are numbers indicating how many people made them and how many workers the factory employs.
