The London City Trailer is a trailer compatible with the urban bicycle rental system. It can be connected to both one’s own bike and a rented bike. With the help of the trailer the user can easily transport a large object or heavy shopping, which otherwise would have to be carried by car, courier, or public transport. Since the trailer is used relatively rarely and its storage requires additional space, the most convenient and cheapest solution is to rent it. The London City Trailer is a product which complements the existing urban bicycle systems. It offers a chance to relieve the cities of motorised traffic even more effectively, especially in terms of local delivery transport. Such a change, according to a report by the Cyclelogistics foundation, can reduce CO2 emissions in a city by up to 37,370 tonnes per year and thus significantly improve air quality, reduce noise levels and car traffic. This will improve the quality of life for all residents.
