The essence of Polish design, or must have 2025

This year we are celebrating the anniversary of the plebiscite the 15th time the Board of Experts has awarded the quality mark to products/collections of products that focus on local design, the highest quality, respond to consumer needs and skillfully use resources with concern for the environment.

I am honored to once again be a member of the Expert Council of the must have plebiscite for the best designed Polish products. This is the most democratic formula, in which everyone, regardless of whether they apply themselves or are nominated by the Council, has exactly the same chances of receiving an award, says Anna Gruzewska, editor-in-chief of the ‘Czas na Wnętrze’ magazine, who has already served as an expert in 12 editions of the plebiscite. I am happy when I see how companies proudly use the emblem we have awarded. It really contributes to changing the design market in Poland.

must have is a plebiscite organized since 2011 by the Łódź Design Festival, which recognizes the best implementations from Polish designers and manufacturers. It is a free-of-charge quality label that companies can use at home and abroad. It was created to popularize good design and thus promote the domestic creative sector. must have is also a unique consumer recommendation and the most media-savvy event in Polish design.
