OVO is an urn for ashes; it is a response to the changing approach to the issue of bidding farewell to the dead, and how we remember them. It allows us to link the ‘green’ burial with a traditional form of commemoration. It consists of 3 parts: LIFE – the container for the ashes made from environmentally-friendly, biodegradable material; LIGHT – a ceramic, semi-circular chandelier; and MEMORY – a ceramic, semi-circular memorial with a commemorative inscription.
