The exhibition R3DEFINE, created by Student Scientific Club CAD from Lodz University of Technology, aims to show the valuable use of photogrammetric scanning and 3D printing, on example of details from the Cinematography Museum, located in the Scheibler Palace in Lodz. There will be four aspects presented, in which photogrammetry combined with 3D printing might help the historical adaptation of buildings process. For instance, it is the possibility to scan object and use the models as a replacement for the disassembled elements, the use of biodegradable materials, the redesigning of the existing elements with the use of 3D printing techniques and making the exhibits accessible for the blind and visually handicapped by creating copies of them. The exhibition has a multi-sensory character. By browsing through different sections dedicated to above-mentioned concepts, it will take the viewer into the 3D printing world not only through eyesight.
