Apply and present during ŁDF2025
On January 15, the call for entries for three Łódź Design Festival projects – make me!, must have and open program – began. This is a great opportunity to present your ideas, projects and concepts to a wide and diverse audience Between May 20 and 25, 2025, during the 19th edition of the Festival.
Create innovation and inspire the world to change
For the 18th time, we invite students and graduates of art and design to participate in the international make me! competition. It is addressed to all those who, in the design process, are guided by an impulse resulting from the perception of new needs or problems. Within the framework of make me! projects that experiment with materials or seek fresh interpretations of existing functions are also appreciated.
The most important goal of make me! is to forecast upcoming trends and support young designers (aged 20-35) who are taking their first steps in the industry.

The winners will be announced at the opening of the 19th Łódź Design Festival. The prize pool of the make me! Design Awards 2025 is PLN 50.000!
Best Polish design
For the 15th time, must have quality marks will be awarded to the best Polish implementations, which, after analysis and deliberation, will be indicated by the Expert Council on the basis of the submissions and its own nominations. Special attention will be paid to products that respond to modern consumer needs.
The goal of must have is to support the creative sector through broad promotion of products that are the result of cooperation between domestic manufacturers and designers.

The awarded projects will be on display at an exhibition accompanying the plebiscite.
From exhibition to urban activity
The open programme is an excellent opportunity to realize your idea, as well as inspire your audience. It allows students, designers, producers, creators, artists, researchers, innovators, educators, activists to submit their own proposals to the festival program.
You can submit a proposal for the open program: an exhibition, installation, presentation, urban activity, or an event accompanying the ŁDF outside the Festival Center.
