IMAGINE Łódź… is an exhibition of work of second- and third-year students of the Design Faculty in the Academy of Art in Szczecin. The students dealt with the topic of climate catastrophe and addressed the attendant personal anxieties, experiences and concerns. Catastrophe is no longer a vision of the future; it affects us on a daily basis, in petty everyday situations. Extremely high temperatures, fires, droughts, and weather anomalies are occurring with increasing frequency in various parts of the globe. Young people in particular are very concerned about this, as they are the ones who will bear the consequences of the change. The exhibition shows a series of objects which are the students’ personal comments on the climate catastrophe.
