8. ŁÓDŹ DESIGN FESTIVAL
BRAVE NEW WORLD
9-19.10.2014

The main program of ŁDF 2014 featured projects interpreting the edition’s motto: Brave New World, and their perspectives were presented by, among others: Daniel Charny, Charlie Koolhas, Grupa Projektowa Tabanda, Dennis Elbers and Sven Ehmann and Kolektyw pan Generator.

During the 8th edition of the Festival, attention was also focused on interactivity. In addition to seeing, you could use your sense of touch and check for yourself what material an object was made of, what structure or texture it was given.

What’s more, under the supervision of specialists, you could repair, modify and renovate – including your own items. Visitors flocked to the Test Zone, an interactive exhibition prepared by the TABANDA design group, which presented four materials in the form of a creative playground – wood, paper, metal and textiles.

Author of the visual identification of the 8th ŁDF: Piotr Okrasa.
