Till the trunks keep growing at PLGBC Summit
PLGBC Green Building Summit is an international conference on sustainable construction in Poland, for sharing best practices and inspiration, learning and improvement. The 14th edition of the event, under the theme Think about REgeneration, will take place on October 3-4, 2024 in Warsaw and online, and will include the Till the trunks keep growing exhibit in a new version!
The conference provides an excellent opportunity for networking and cooperation between different players in the green building field.
The event is organized in a hybrid format and two days of activities have been prepared. The program includes speakers, panel discussions, dynamic presentations of case studies. Speed networking, which was extremely popular last year, is also included again.
During the first day (03.10) of the PLGBC Green Building Summit, four sessions focused on strategic areas were scheduled:
-
Rising to the Challenge: Climate Change Solution
-
Building Biodiversity
-
Reuse Revolution
-
Exploring Health, Wellbeing, and Life Satisfaction
The activity will culminate with the presentation of the PLGBC Green Building Awards 2024.
As part of the second day of the conference (04.10) – Free of Carbon Architecture – the organizers will present an education and calculation platform to estimate the carbon footprint of a building in the A1-A3 range of the building life cycle. These activities will be organized in conjunction with the international FoCA project.
Among the Keynote Speakers, their participation has already been confirmed:

As part of the additional events, the online zone features the exhibition Till the trunks keep growing, which is one of the key points of the Lodz Design Festival 2024 program. Curated by Katarzyna Ludwisiak and Michał Piernikowski, the exhibition takes a closer look at the beneficial effects of nature and why it is so important in cities. Especially now, in the face of the challenges of climate change and increasing urbanization, when it is essential to base city planning projects on green development.
