Duo lamps are made of solid sheets of steel. Each lamp is a hybrid consisting of two pieces of lampshades. There is a gap between the two parts of the lampshade that lets light through and produces a light “reflection”. This detail is a reference to the Reflex lamps designed in the 1980s. This family of light fixtures combines more classical and less conventional models, which can be surprising, evoke emotion and bring to mind ideas not usually found at home.
