Exhibition of works completed by students from the Graphic Identification Studio I° under the supervision of dr. Przemysław Hajek.

The themes and design solutions presented at the exhibition raise two contrasting issues. The first – a coincidence in design and building visual communication based on randomly selected slogans. The second one was to improve public space by designing graphic identifications for small craft workshops such as tailors, bakers, glaziers or watchmakers. The students’ task was to find these places in the city space, make photographic documentation and create new graphic designs, including: the context of a given place, history or architecture. Regardless of the topic discussed, in both cases the design process eliminates the case of, among others: through in-depth analysis. It also shows how you can logically arrange individual elements from various unpredictable situations and design attractive and understandable visual communication, e.g. for a confectionery shop, swimming pool, cafe or local bicycle service.
