Urban farming, or urban agriculture. has developed dynamically across the globe.
New initiatives spring up in all parts of the world: local gardens and urban farms where food is grown locally in a modern way, reducing the emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases and striving towards a circular economy.
We live in a time of raised awareness about growth limits, a collapsed model of globalisation, broken supply chains and biodiversity loss: a polycrisis that combines political, climate, mental health, military and epidemic breakdowns. Now more than ever, we need urgent transformation and reconstruction of our approach.
The exhibition presents projects and initiatives that build a vision of a better future today: from regenerative agriculture, to food sovereignty, to the restoration of biodiversity and wellbeing for humans and animals. We will take you on a trip around the world to spotlight ideas that bring change and hope here and now. Join us on this journey!
