The PLAYFOOL Screen provides a conceptual framework for the critical examination of the surrounding spatial environment. It invites reflection on the ways in which classical objects can be recontextualized within contemporary interiors – retaining their original functions while simultaneously adapting to the evolving demands of modern life. The reintroduction of the screen as an element of interior design aligns closely with the central theme of “nie_koniec / un_end“, serving as a statement on continuity and adaptability. This project constitutes a contemporary reinterpretation of a historically significant piece of furniture, one that acquires renewed relevance within dynamic spatial contexts. It bridges the gap between tradition and innovation, preserving established functions while embracing a more creative and forward-looking role. Rather than marking the conclusion of the classical screen, it signifies its transformation and new beginning.
