The project assumes an inclusive approach to the design of public spaces, taking into account the needs of neuroatypical people. The exhibiton leads from the experience of difficulties to integration, engaging viewers in discussions and design activities. The project is based on Evidence-Based Design, integrating scientific knowledge and practice. Educational activities include innovation, research and community engagement, promoting a socially sustainable environment. It is the result of creating a network of cooperation between experts from various fields and an expression of shared responsibility for the world in which we live. Moreover, the design tool and educational and research activities accompanying the space provoke a change in the perception of the social landscape, sensitizing recipients to the neurodiversity of society. The aim is to provide practical solutions, allowing designers and other audiences to embody inclusive design, without which there is no balance.
The exhibition was included in the Łódź Design Festival 2024 program as part of the open programme call.
