The exhibition consists of sculptures by Beata Szczepaniak created between 2020 and 2024. They blend seamlessly into the beautiful interior space of the Biotiful café, which is part of the PURO hotel. Here, works from three cycles are displayed – Attachment, Playground, and Daydreaming. Despite subtle formal differences, all three cycles are characterized by the organic nature of forms and the ambiguity of interpretation. These works, in a way, “ask” the viewer what they are, desiring the recipient to give them their own unique interpretation. The author only lightly guides the context with titles but does not impose her vision of seeing the sculptures. Softness of shapes is significant in all three cycles, enticing the viewer’s sense of touch.
The exhibition was included in the Łódź Design Festival 2024 program as part of the open programme call.
