PARTICIPATION RULES

An exhibition of works by graduates and students of the Decorative Textile Studio at the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, who explore new possibilities of the medium through structure, material, and the senses. The selected objects and structures are the results of individual explorations – often based on experimentation, in-depth research and interviews, material bravery, and a desire to go beyond the traditional understanding of textile as a primarily visual medium. This is a practice of designing for touch, surprise, tenderness, and presence –  an experience that does not stop at being looked at. The exhibition features both graduates who are already active in the design world, nationally and internationally, and students determined to discover their own ways of building haptic structures. All of them continuously develop their skills and devise new ways to stimulate perception.

The exhibition was included in the Łódź Design Festival 2025 program as part of the open call open programme.
