make me! 2023 finalists
International make me! is one of the most innovative design events in Europe and a key element of the Łódź Design Festival. Its most important goal is to forecast upcoming trends, bold ideas and support young designers aged 20-35 who are ready to start.
A month before the start of the Festival, we present the list of 25 finalists who will compete for a total prize pool of PLN 50.000. Sponsor of one of the awards – make me! INTERPRINT AWARD PLN 10.000 is awarded to Interpritnt.
This year, 171 applications were received from: Germany, Poland, Finland, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Switzerland, Estonia, Hungary, Slovakia, Great Britain, Belgium, Greece and Luxembourg. The works of young designers were evaluated by an international jury composed of: Maja Ganszyniec, Joanna Krokosz, Ingrid van der Wacht, Maurizio Burrato, Szymon Hanczar, Tomek Rygalik and Michał Piernikowski.
The winners will be announced on May 18th (Thursday) during the awards gala, and during the entire festival you will be able to see an exhibition of the final projects of the make me!
